Doopbeslag vir VisBatter for Fish
BestandeleIngredients
- 250ml koekmeelblom
- 250ml water of water en melk
- 2ml sout
- 3ml bakpoeier
- 250ml cake flour
- 250ml water or a mix of water and milk
- 2ml salt
- 3ml baking powder

Sif die droë bestandele saam en voeg genoeg vloeistof by om 'n dun beslag te maak.
Om vis te bak: Klad die vis en besprinkel met sout en peper. Druk in 'n doopbeslag en bak in warm olie. Draai die vis slegs een maal om. Neem ongeveer 2 minute aan weerskante. Dreineer die gaar vis op absorbeerpapier. Dien baie warm op.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add enough liquid to make a thin batter. To fry fish: Season the fish with salt and pepper. Dip in the batter and fry in hot oil. Turn the fish only once. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side. Drain the cooked fish on absorbent paper. Serve very hot.

Klits saam 1 eier, 1k melk en 2e olie. Meng met droë bestandele. Drup teelepelteaspoonsvol in warm olie. Bak tot ligbruin. Haal uit en plaas op kombuispapier. Strooi aromat en knoffel oor, met suurlemoenpeper.
Beat together 1 egg, 1k milk, and 2e oil. Mix with the dry ingredients. Drop teaspoonfuls into hot oil. Fry until light brown. Remove and place on kitchen paper. Sprinkle with aromat and garlic, and lemon pepper.

Kook melk. Meng ander bestandele met melk. Kook 10 minute lank. Skep lepelsvol in 'n bak. Sit botter stukkies op en gooi kaneelsuiker oor.
Boil milk. Mix other ingredients with milk. Cook for 10 minutes. Spoon into a dish. Place pieces of butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

- 500ml oats

- 250ml soft brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 500ml flour, sifted
- 1ml salt

Room margarien en suiker saam. Voeg eiers en vanilla by, klop goed. Voeg gesifte meel, koeksoda en sout by. Voeg res van bestandele by en meng goed. Plaas teelepelteaspoonsvol op gesmeerde bakplaat, maar laat genoeg ruimte sodat dit kan versprei. Bak ongeveer 12 minute op 180°C. Laat afkoel.
Cream margarine and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add sifted flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Place teaspoonsful on a greased baking sheet, leaving enough space for spreading. Bake for about 12 minutes at 180°C. Allow to cool.

Roer mengsel tot kook. Voeg 1 blikkie gekondenseerde melk by. Roer. Bring tot kookpunt (stoof op nr. 7). Vanwaar begin kook, roer aanhoudend vir 17 minute. Haal af. Voeg 1t vanielje geursel en ¾e asyn by. Klop baie goed. Gooi in gesmeerde pan. Sny 60 blokkies.
Stir the mixture until it boils. Add 1 can of condensed milk. Stir. Bring to a boil (simmer on number 7). Once it starts boiling, stir continuously for 17 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1t vanilla essence and ¾e vinegar. Whip very well. Pour into a greased pan. Cut into 60 squares.
