  • 250g varkworsies (sonder vel)

  • 750g minced beef
  • 250g pork sausages (without skin)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 thick slice of bread, soaked in water
  • 2t salt
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ¼t pepper
  • ¼t paprika

MetodeMethod

Meng al die bestandele goed. Vorm die mengsel soos 'n broodjie, rol dit in droë broodkrummels of fyngemaakte ontbytvlokkies en plaas dit in 'n gesmeerde, vuurvaste bakskottel. Bak dit tot 1¼ uur lank in 'n matige oond by 180°C. Dien warm op 'n vleisskottel en versier rondom met aartapels (kapok aartapels), gebraaide pynappelskywe of gebraaide tamatieskywe. Kan ook koud opgedien word saam met slaai.

Mix all the ingredients well. Shape the mixture into a loaf, roll it in dry breadcrumbs or crushed breakfast flakes, and place it in a greased, ovenproof dish. Bake for 1¼ hours in a moderate oven at 180°C. Serve hot on a meat platter and garnish around with potatoes (mashed potatoes), fried pineapple slices, or fried tomato slices. It can also be served cold with salad.

MetodeMethod

Maal die vleis, voeg al die ander bestandele by en meng goed. Sit dit in 'n lang, vuurvaste bakskottel, voeg 2e water by en bak 1 tot 1½ uur lank in 'n matige oond by 180°C. Dien dit warm op. Indien verkies kan 'n laag tamatiesous bo-oor gesmeer word 15 minute voor dit uit die oond gehaal word, of 'n laag pynappelskywe kan onder in die gesmeerde bakskottel gesit word. Bak en keer die rol uit voordat dit opgedien word.

Grind the meat, add all the other ingredients, and mix well. Place it in a long, ovenproof dish, add 2e water, and bake for 1 to 1½ hours in a moderate oven at 180°C. Serve hot. If preferred, a layer of tomato sauce can be spread on top 15 minutes before removing from the oven, or a layer of pineapple slices can be placed at the bottom of the greased dish. Bake and turn the roll out before serving.

Voorverhit oond tot 180°C. Smeer oondvaste bak. Skep macaroni in bak. Soteer ui, knoffel en soetrissie in die olie tot sag. Voeg sardyne in sous by en geur met gemengde kruie of pietersielie. Voeg die mayonnaise by en meng goed. Geur na smaak met sout en peper. Skep oor macaroni en meng liggies. Sprinkel kaas oor en bak sowat 20 minute of tot gereg lekker warm is en die kaas gesmelt is. Dien op saam met slaai.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease an ovenproof dish. Spoon the macaroni into the dish. Sauté the onion, garlic, and bell pepper in the oil until soft. Add the sardines in sauce and season with mixed herbs or parsley. Add the mayonnaise and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon over the macaroni and mix lightly. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for about 20 minutes or until the dish is nice and hot and the cheese is melted. Serve with salad.

Braai ui en tamaties effens in bietjie olie. Meng sardyne in tamatiesous en geklitste eier met uie en tamatie. Geur met sout en peper. Maak kapokaartapels en skep in 'n gesmeerde bak. Skep vismengsel bo-op en sit weer laag aartapels op vis. Sit 'n paar klonte botter bo-op en 'n laag gerasperde kaas indien verkies. Bak op 180°C vir 10 tot 15 minute.

Fry onion and tomatoes slightly in a bit of oil. Mix sardines in tomato sauce and beaten egg with onion and tomato. Season with salt and pepper. Prepare mashed potatoes and spoon into a greased dish. Spoon fish mixture on top and add another layer of potatoes over the fish. Place a few dabs of butter on top and a layer of grated cheese if desired. Bake at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • 100g cheese, grated
  • 50ml fresh breadcrumbs

Voorverhit oond tot 180°C. Spuit oondvaste bak. Kook macaroni in soutwater met olie tot net sag. Soteer ui in verhitte botter tot sag. Voeg koekmeelblom by en roer tot glad. Verwyder van hitte en voeg melk stadig by terwyl geroer word. Verhit tot dik. Voeg res van bestandele, behalwe broodkrummels en helfte van kaas, by. Meng met macaroni. Skep in bak. Meng orige kaas met broodkrummels en strooi bo-oor. Bak 20 minute. Genoeg vir 10–12 mense.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish. Cook macaroni in salted water with oil until just soft. Sauté onion in heated butter until soft. Add cake flour and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and gradually add milk while stirring. Heat until thick. Add the rest of the ingredients, except breadcrumbs and half of the cheese. Mix with macaroni. Spoon into the dish. Mix remaining cheese with breadcrumbs and sprinkle on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Serves 10–12.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix minced meat and mixed vegetables. Spoon into a baking dish. Mash potatoes with a bit of milk and butter. Season with nutmeg. Spoon over the minced meat. Bake for about 30 minutes or until heated through. Serves 4.

Kook maalvleis en uie saam. Kook aartapels genoeg om bo-op te sit voor bak. Voeg kerriepoeier by maalvleis. Meng sop met 1 koppiecup kookwater en voeg by maalvleis. Voeg blikkie bone by. Kook 5 minute. Druk aartapels fyn. Sit maalvleis mengsel in glasbak en pak fyngedrukte aartapels bo-op. Bak tot punte bruin word.

Cook minced meat and onions together. Boil potatoes enough to place on top before baking. Add curry powder to the minced meat. Mix soup with 1 cup boiling water and add to the minced meat. Add the can of beans. Cook for 5 minutes. Mash the potatoes. Place the minced meat mixture in a glass dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top. Bake until the edges turn brown.

Voorverhit oond tot 180°C. Smeer oondvaste bak. Meng maalvleis, koue water, sout en peper en kook vinnig sonder deksel totdat vloeistof verdamp het, roer af en toe. Skep maalvleis in bak. Bedek vleis met blatjang. Strooi rys bo-oor. Gooi sop oor, dan sampioene en laaste die kookwater. Sit deksel op of bedek met foelie. Bak 1½ uur of tot gaar.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish. Mix minced meat, cold water, salt, and pepper and cook quickly without a lid until the liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally. Spoon minced meat into the dish. Cover the meat with chutney. Sprinkle rice on top. Pour soup over, then mushrooms, and lastly the boiling water. Place a lid on or cover with foil. Bake for 1½ hours or until cooked.

Doop die lewer in kookwater, trek die vleis af en sny in stukkies van ongeveer 20×20×10mm. Braai alkante bruin. Strooi die meelblom oor en roer dit in. Voeg die res van die bestandele by en laat 15 minute lank stadig kook.

Dip the liver in boiling water, remove the meat and cut into pieces of approximately 20×20×10mm. Brown all sides. Sprinkle the flour over and stir it in. Add the remaining ingredients and let simmer slowly for 15 minutes.

MetodeMethod

Braai uie in botter tot goudbruin. Voeg kerriepoeier, sout, suiker, asyn, blatjang en maalvleis by. Dreineer melk van die brood en druk fyn met 'n vurk. Voeg by die mengsel. Voeg 1 geklitste eier by en meng goed saam. Sit in 'n vuurvaste skottel. Geur met sout en peper en gooi die orige eier by die melk wat oor gebly het, en gooi oor die mengsel. Sit klein stukkies botter bo-op en bak by 180°C vir 30 minute.

Sauté onions in butter until golden brown. Add curry powder, salt, sugar, vinegar, chutney, and minced meat. Drain the milk from the bread and mash it with a fork. Add to the mixture. Add 1 beaten egg and mix well. Place in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper and pour the remaining egg over the milk left, and pour over the mixture. Place small pieces of butter on top and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
